India Surpasses Japan to become the World’s Third Largest Smartphone Market; Samsung leads, followed by Micromax
Smartphone sale is booming in India and an increasing number of people are getting hooked to them, demanding seamless connectivity anytime, anywhere. Looking at the recent trends in Q2 2013, India stood out as the world’s third largest smartphone market with total smartphone shipments at 9 million. According to the report by Canalys, Samsung took over a third of the Indian smartphone market in Q2 2013, followed by local vendor Micromax at 22%. MNCs like Sony, LG and Samsung have decided to limit their after-sales service for imported models that are estimated to account for nearly 20% of all TV sets in India. Google+ adds a new search filter for photo posts

Google+ search results can now be filtered to display only photo posts, says Google's Dave Coehn in an official blog post. All the users have to do is type what they're looking for, and then select "Photos" from the filter dropdown. Once enabled, users will be shown spot photo posts that have been shared with them, and these include posts that were shared only with them or public photos on Google+. Say, if you're looking for "Cartoons" on Google+ and type "Cartoons" in the search box, then you just need to select "Photos" in the dropdown menu and you will see a stream of search results with images pertaining to the search...
